HouseCalls Online has already been developed into an iPhone application for consumers, named SymptomMD.

“What should I do when my child falls and gets a bump on the head?”  “Should I be concerned about the sinus congestion I’ve had for three days?” 

These are questions that all people have.  And often, they arise during the evening, on weekends, while traveling and at other times when the doctor’s office is hard to reach. Having immediate access to symptom decision support enables consumers to locate answers quickly and confidently  - anywhere and anytime.

SymptomMD is designed especially for these times.  The care guides help people make appropriate decisions on what level of care (if any) is needed and how to provide symptom relief for minor illnesses and injuries they can manage on their own.
