Research was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of using HouseCalls / Symptom Checker. 928 participants completed an online survey after accessing the website and using at least one of the HouseCalls care guides.  The results are as follows:

Saved time in other ways (use of other internet site, book, other ways)		24%
Value:		YES
Was it clear when to call the doctor or take action?		96.4%
Was the care advice clear for home/self care management?		97.3%
Would you use it again?		99.4%

The study was completed by Pediatric Web, Inc.  The survey responses were online and anonymous.  Additional research is ongoing.  Results will be posted as available.
