2026 Update Release
As 2025 draws to a close, we’re excited to share the Self Care Decisions 2026 update. This release introduces new care guides designed to help patients navigate emerging diseases, particularly as cases of measles and whooping cough rise amid declining vaccination rates. The new guides walk patients and parents through what to do after a known or suspected exposure and how to respond if symptoms develop.
Our Spanish versions are also in this release, helping more patients access important health information in their preferred language. In addition, we’re continuing to evaluate and update the external references displayed in the symptom checker to ensure patients see only the most trusted and current sources.
As we head into the holiday season and navigate a challenging political and economic climate, our focus remains the same: empowering consumers and members to take charge of their health, make informed choices, and feel confident in caring for themselves and their loved ones.
